I'm setting up a DJ booth for a friend and everything seems fine but I have no sound coming out of the speakers (not so fine then !). I reckon it's down to the daft Neutrik connections I'm having to use.
The speakers are single wired into the plugs and I have the positive going to "1+" and the Neg to "1-".
Seems fairly logical to me but no output.
Any ideas ?

I've these beasties on the back of my 707 powe amp. I have to say that they are normally very good and I believe they self clean as you twist and they click into place.
You have twisted and heard the click ?
Alternatively swap the connections positive to +2 and negative to -2. Another solution would be to connect +1 to +2 and -1 to -2, this will cover both options.
If this doesn't work check with a continuety meter the cable for breaks and or wrong connections.
Otherwise the problem may lie else where.
