Its all happening dude!

Kick off, erm anytime from noon onwards really.

With an arsenal of 1600 LPs... you must have a lot to pick from!.

What did you think of those speakers you were going to try, any good? Impulse horns werent they?

NB
booked some fabby W.A.D. amps for the weekend but Im being really secretive, just for fun! hehehe (playing WM's trick)

Cheers
Chris

I'm looking forward to it.......

I'm busy getting the stuff ready to bring down, making certain it all works. I'll throw some software in as well as a few bits of wire, an amp or two, a CDP and DAC.

see you at the weekend

Damn, can't make it. I forgot that I have a friend over from Barcelona. I'm really annoyed because I was well up for this. Maybe we can do another one soon on the basis that you will not get to listen to everything on the day. I would be happy to host something here in central London but we would need to reduce the kit list and it would only be good for about 6 of us due to the size and shape of the room which is 22' long but only 11' wide where the speakers are.

At least pipes and slippers are more civilized than being surrounded by grungy black t-shirted types with sweaty armpits all chanting the incantation 'Let's Rock' :D

Anyone who has a large floor cushion might want to bring it along - theres sofa seating for 4.. and then its wooden kitchen chairs and stools!

PS
Someone should tell James Hetfield (Metallica) that valve amps arent rock, theyre for people with pipes and slippers... and foo fighters, and oasis, and jimmy page and blah de blah blah blah

lets rock!!!!!!

Chris, somehow I feel, that those 'Gig Valve amps' with monster 40% feed back channel driven distortion, are some what 'Un-connected' with the those versions you guy's have :D , I'd love to see a A/Note mega buck 300B's do the Donnington festival even with a pair of Monster JBL 98 DB horns, some how the distortion just won't be the same, anyway good luck for Saturday, hope all goes well. Hi everyone

Just a quick note before tommorow.

Ive got the W.A.D. amps (all four of them!!), the pizzas in the fridge, and drinks too....

Hope you turn up, or its pizza for breakfast lunch and dinner for a month.

So, see you all tommorow, anyone getting lost - you should have my phone number - if not PM me tonight.

NB
Hope everyone can give the WAD stuff a fair hearing and comment on the web, theyve been very generous with the stuff theyve lent and deserve decent zerogain treatment (which Im sure theyd get anyway) :D

All the best
Chris
