http://www.google.com/search?q=allinurl:www.zerogain.com&hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&safe=off&filter=0
866 hits on the threads thanks the vbSpiderFriend archive "hack" I got from one of the guys at www.vbulletin.org.
BTW, the search I used to get the above URL was:
allinurl:www.zerogain.com
...which is an undocumented Google command to get you all the hits it has for a particular site/url. That only brings up 2 results but then click on "repeat the search with the omitted results included." to get the full list.

It also helps if all those that have a Google toolbar installed were to click on the smiley face occasionally

Voting buttons: If you especially like or dislike a web page you're visiting and want to share your opinion with Google, you can vote thumbs up by clicking the happy face or thumbs down by clicking the unhappy face. These buttons can also be used to report especially useful or unsatisfactory results after searching with Google. Just click the appropriate button while you're still on the results page. This feature is currently in test mode, so you will not notice any immediate effects based on your action, other than experiencing a warm sense of satisfaction from having shared your feelings with people who really do care.

Just been looking at the stats for the forum and 15 out of the top 20 referring URLs are from the various incarnations of Google around the world  Wow! It really is bringing in the punters :)
Between them google.com and google.co.uk make up 42% of all referring sites. The other googles add another 15% so that makes 57% of all referrers coming from Google. The next best engine is search.yahoo.com with 8%.

...and we hit the max number of users yesterday aswell:
Most users ever online was 52 on 17th November 2003 at 13:37
Which beats the previous record of 48 that only happened because of some weird hack/DoS attack (that didn't succeed).

Btw Dos attacks rearly get up forums renking, this would most likely be a stats or site archive system maby an alternative search engine getting the data.
plus if it was a good DoS attack it would be in the thousands.

I seem to remember this having some kind of spyware involved in it. Anyone else know?

There is a type of spyware in the advanced options but Google are up front about it and allow you to turn it off.
