Have a few spare pennies and have a house move in 3 weeks .

I will need 2 X 5m runs of some speaker cable.

I use VDH CS122 and have tried cat5 but had to get rid for domestic harmony reasons.

I single wire and am pretty OK with the VDH but it's too short now.

Any suggestions.. I won't spend more than a tenner a meter.

Thanks

J

I've heard a lot of good things said about QED XT-300 which I think can be had for about £10 a meter.

Why not cover the cat5 with that woven nylon braid, it comes in a variety of colours to suit domestic harmony ?

Chord have one at about £9 a metre I think. Can't remember what it's called. It's a single wire cable, silver plated. I've been considering giving it a go, but want to upgrade my speakers first:cool:
