Bad boy who started this thread :D :D :D , careful now else those thunderbolts will be decending in large amounts, closely followed by very distant thunder, as the ATC's struggle to keep up with

I thought I'd read something about virgins being tied to it before being sacrificed...

don;t think so. bound virgins would upset the delicate levelling and unique 'ringing' vibrational properties of the holy food.

One of the best racks (http://www.noel-antiques.com/Stockpics/Toast-rack.jpg) I've tried, all others are toast!

Outstanding, but do you need more than 37 layers to keep it warm though Auric ?

The Q4 is *furniture*. The Reference will provide a *performance* alternative to Mana but with a different flavour, imho.
Some systems really need Mana to work; mine doesn't for me with the kit I'm using and in my room, although the Sound Bases by Mana are a performance boost in every which way given a suspended floor and a thick carpet with underlay chez moi dans ma *chambre* d'écoute.
It's nice to be here and it looks sooooo familiar...

Pot Kettle Black there Harry :)
Snigger indeed.
I have the best rack ever made - it's all of 100 quid and made by JPW - and it's so well made it's allen-keyed together, not welded... He he he - go forth and buy one :)
Seriously though - what rack is that in the picture earlier in the thread - it's like a less chunky version of Clearlight Aspekt - very nice indeed :)
That there is a Wilson-Benesch.
No idea how much it costs.......... and don't think I want to either!

Wasnt going to post this, but what the hell..
This is the company that makes what I think are the most attractive racks that money can buy.

Before all the serious Rack afficionados here scoff and try and redirect me to the urdy gurdy chat rooms, a stylish decent performing rack can be made from LAK tables. They are available in different sizes and finishes and if used in conjunction with dedicated support accessories you can make a pretty nifty equipment rack. I'm in the prcoess of building one that'll house my system with my TV on top. Additional support for my cd player is provided by a Townsend Sink and my amp will probably feature some additional support aswell, but the LAK's alone only cost £64. That plus the cost of 2 pieces of glass, which will act as the shelves, means probably £75 tops.
Cheap as chips and just as tasty!

dunno mate!
knowing copulare though, its gotta been in the thousands.
I like the marquetry on the one on the left. Wouldnt look out of place in a stately home I think, nevermind my humble home!
The bronze one is cool too, wish I could weld, Id have a go!

Hi Garyi
You don't need a rack for your gear mate. Just pile it up on the floor and see if you can tell the difference. :D
Why don't you just use an up-turned dustbin and stand it all on that. That's what I'd use.
Except for me, it would be the other way up of course...... ;)
Only joking :)
Cheers

I see she is using the elastomer theory of isolation - with oversized seizmic sinks.
Reckon she might get upset when me valve amp burns her curmudgeons though :D
